With years of firsthand experience across the globe, they design personalized journeys rooted in genuine discovery. April DeMuth Watson
Founder & CEO
April's first trip abroad in 1987-studying Russian in Moscow-sparked a lifelong passion for connection through travel. Since then, she has danced merengue in Caracas, bargained for rugs in Morocco, and never stopped exploring. Professionally, April built a 30+ year career as a global strategist-working with Bain & Company in the U.S., Paris, and Moscow; leading strategic planning at Berlitz International; and earning her MBA from Stanford, where she was Student Head of the Global Management Program. Today, she brings that same insight and strategic eye to designing journeys that are both seamless and extraordinary.
Warren Watson
Founder & CEO
Warren's journey began on the courts as a nationally ranked tennis player and Division I athlete at the University of Louisville. For over 30 years, he built a career as a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional and Director, organizing international tournaments and leading team travel. Those experiences gave him a global perspective, a gift for logistics, and a deep appreciation for the relationships formed when people travel together.
Together, we've combined decades of strategy, service, and global experience into a shared purpose: helping others explore the world with meaning, beauty, and ease.
Charlotte Rigogne
Social Media Director
Charlotte studied sociology at the University of Pittsburgh with a minor in creative writing — the study of how people live, paired with the craft of telling it well. A writer, musician, and artist, she moved to Austin, Texas, a few years ago, where she’s a member of Women in Film & Television Austin and works as a visual stylist/studio coordinator for a local TV station.
At April Adventures, Charlotte runs our social media — every post, reel, and story you see from us on Instagram and Facebook. We hand her the raw material of a trip: photos, video, half-coherent notes written while traveling. She gives our jumble of travel moments a visual look and feel, and brings our stories to life.
